A Maui Fall Tradition

It’s that time of year again, when the evening temperatures turn cooler, avocados are plentiful, and everyone is heading to Kula Country Farms to pick their pumpkins at Maui’s very own pumpkin patch. Beginning October 1 and running through the 31st, these fourth generation farmers will open their gates for our community to get their annual supply of pumpkins, and other autumn staples. Kula Country Farms grows thousand of pumpkins every year in more varieties than you can imagine - flat, round, bumpy, giant, tiny, green, pink, yellow, and of course orange! In addition to picking your pumpkins, you can also explore the maize maze, visit with farm animals, play in the children’s garden, and delight in all of the other produce the farm produces including decorative gourds, sunflowers, and squashes.

Make Your Reservations

Due to the pandemic, the farm is limiting the amount of visitors, and the time per visit to 1 hour, so reservations are required. Reservations can be made at the gate if spaces are available. Entry is $5 per person, free for children under 3. Masks are requested to be worn on the farm and all social distancing guidelines observed. And don’t forget to bring your own wagon for your pumpkins!

A Little different this year

The farmstand will be open with snack and drinks and there will be food vendors on the weekends. This year no picnic tables or tables will be available, so food will need to be consumed off-property. There will be many of the Halloween crafts, pumpkin carving supplies, and the produce stand full of locally grown produce, plants, and fresh flowers for us to enjoy! See you at the pumpkin patch!!
